Team Coaching
A Team is defined as “a small number of people, with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals and approach, for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.”
Teams are essential in the modern workplace. They are a bridge between the individual and the wider organisation, the unit by which work is accomplished, and provide an environment to meet people’s need for socialisation, a common identity, shared ideas and purpose, recognition and intrinsic reward.
The extent to which a team is effective depends on numerous factors:
-
Diversity (gender, cultural and expertise)
-
Creativity
-
Communication within and outside the team
-
How the team handles conflict
-
Team Leadership (individual or shared)
-
The quality of teamwork
Team Coaching is very effective and can provide clear benefits in helping a team to improve any or all of these factors.
Chris Davies Coaching provides a Team Coaching programme that focusses not on the individuals but on the team as a distinct entity. Through engaging and inclusive workshops, teams connect more with their purpose, build empathy and psychological safety, co-create norms for communication, and behaviours, and resilience for when things don't go according to plan.
